Summer Festival in The National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo

The MOMAT Summer Festival offers both adults and children enjoyable day and evening events from July to October!

In addition to special events related to the exhibitions, the museum opens until 9:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. During the evening extended hours you can enjoy the shows at discounted admission.* The Garden Café featuring a comfortable green lawn is quickly transformed into a Bear Bar in the evening. The MOMAT Collection offers Let’s Talk Art!, Japan’s first cross-cultural art-appreciation program in English every Friday evening (pre-registration necessary). Programs in Japanese language include interactive Mini Gallery Tour held every day, and limited-time Friday Night Talk.

Stop by at the MOMAT after work in weekends, or during the summer holidays with your family. It is highly recommended also to international visitors. Don’t miss the opportunity the MOMAT offers to experience new ways to have fun at an art museum!
