Access by Bus

HOKUTETSU Local-line Bus (Local Bus)
At Bus Stop 3, take any Route (12-minute ride), get off at“ Hirosaka, 21st Century Museum” and walk 7 minutes.
At Bus Stop 6, take buses except bound for “ Yanagibashi” (12-minute ride), get off at“ Dewamachi” and walk 5 minutes.
At Bus Stop 8, take any Route (11-minute ride), get off at“ Hirosaka, 21st Century Museum” and walk 9 minutes.

KANAZAWA LOOP BUS

At Bus Stop 7, take Right Loop buses (18-minute ride), get off at“ Hirosaka, 21st Century Museum” and walk 7 minutes.

At Bus Stop 7, take Left Loop buses (20-minute ride), get off at“ Hirosaka, 21st Century Museum” and walk 7 minutes.

Machi Bus
*Bus services limited to weekends and holidays.
At Bus Stop 5, take buses (20-minute ride), get off at“ Kanazawa 21-Seiki Bijutsukan / Kenrokuen (Mayumizaka-guchi)” and walk 7 minutes.

Access by Taxi

Normally, 10-15 minutes from the taxi stand at JR Kanazawa Station East Exit (Kenrokuen Exit)

Access by Car

Twenty- to thirty-minute drive from the Kanazawa-nishi IC or Morimoto IC on the Hokuriku Expressway.

Please use the parking lots shared with the adjacent cultural facilities (approx. 230 cars, free of charge). It is not possible to make reservations. In order of proximity to the National Crafts Museum:

Parking Lot 3 (at Ish ikawa Prefectural Museum of History) 45 cars. Walk 1 minute.

Parking Lot 2 (at Ishik awa Prefectural Museum of Art) 60 cars. Walk 3 minutes.

Parking Lot 1 (at Ishik awa Prefectural Noh Theater) 128 cars. Walk 4 minutes.

*Please collect your parking ticket from the parking attendant and hand it to reception at the National Crafts Museum. The parking attendant will collect the stamped parking ticket on your return.
*The parking lots are shared with the cultural facilities in the vicinity of Kenrokuen (Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art, Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of History, Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theater, Ishi kawa Prefectural Museum of Traditional Arts and Crafts).
*Head straight down the road between the National Crafts Museum and Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of History for the priority parking at the side of the National Crafts Museum building (3 passenger vehicles, free of charge). It is not possible to make reservations.

We ask tour buses to use Parking Lot 1. Tour buses only must reserve a parking space. Please call Hello Dial (050-5541-8600) to inquire.

Access by Bicycles

Head straight down the road between the National Crafts Museum and Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of History for the bicycle parking at the end of the road on the right.

There is the Machi-nori Port No. 18 (Hondanomori Park/National Crafts Museum ) for the public bicycle sharing scheme.

Route on foot from the nearest bus stop

There are three bus stops in the vicinity of the National Crafts Museum.

Relatively Flat Route

Get off the bus at Dewamachi bus stop. Walk five minutes. This the closest relatively flat walk.

4At the end of the street, cross the pedestrian crossing at Kenroku-sakaue traffic lights.

5With Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Traditional Arts and Crafts and Seison-kaku on your right, keep walking along the street.

6At the end of the street, cross the pedestrian crossing at the Dewamachi traffic lights.

7Straight ahead you will see two buildings, one white with green trim and the other white with brown trim. This is the National Crafts Museum.
