Spending more days at home has reminded us of what truly matters. Yet the boundlessness of the world stirs our longing for the unknown. Want to go somewhere? Visit the National Crafts Museum! This summer, the themes are the jungle—and paradise!
Plants growing into dense tangles, and animals, energetic, their lives entwined—the natural world, as seen in the crafts, is a jungle filled with hopes humans have shared since we inhabited the forest primeval.
The crafts’ beauty, carved and polished through exploring ideas of form, reverberates with rhythms, invitations from their land, a paradise tantalizingly out of reach. Why not explore the forest of crafts and experience, once again, that blissful breath of life?
A jungle-paradise awaits you, with programs that everyone, kids and adults, will enjoy.
